Finally got a new set of underseat woofers, so I am ready to pull these HK ones out.

They are definitely an improvement over the OEM "hifi" ones.

Unless you are using an aftermarket amp or have another way to adjust how much power they get, I am not sure if they are plug and play with a "hifi" setup, just from a power/volume matching standpoint with the doors/tweeters.

But if you are replacing a damaged HK woofer, or you have an adjustable amp, then these are a nice step up!

Why am I upgrading? Because I cannot stop scratching an itch or itching a scratch.

Make me an offer. Pick up in SF Bay Area preferred. Will ship at buyer's expense (about $25 within the lower 48) to a confirmed PP address.

Gladen Audio, sometimes called "Audio System," their drop in p-n-p 8 inch woofers.

(actually the Gladens are not 100% plug and play; they are missing the connector for the BMW clip -- so one either buys from someone that supplies that with the speakers like musicarnw, or does some cutting of the OEM wires.)
