So again, why do YOU think increasing tread width by 10mm solved your issue? I'm curious.
Not sure. What I can say, is they DID hold air if the pressure was increased way higher than what you'd run them at. Only once you brought it back down to factory spec did they start leaking. Also, the rears were much more severe than the front. It was mainly the rears that were giving me serious problems, they'd always come down to around 25 psi.

Personally, I've never heard of VMR until I got these. I've had forgestars, volks, BBS, advans and a few others and never had this issue.

This is what I said, but they insisted it would work. We even tried the same size tire, different brand/models to make sure mine weren't defective.

Now I'm out over 1,000$ worth of tires because the original set I bought according to what they recommended and I can't return them. (Super sports)

I'm switching to 235 and 265 respectively.

Thanks,
Morgan

Are you lowered?

That's a very strange issue you're having, however the tire width is perfectly suitable for the wheel width. It is not too narrow by any means, and people have run narrower without any issues. Sometimes though, if there is any sort of debris that may not allow the tire to seat perfectly, that could cause some leaking. Did you confirm where the tires were leaking?

Going with a wider tire does not guarantee that the issue will disappear. Are you running TPMS with the wheels? If so, were they tight enough?

We have been through this exercise and have not come to a real conclusion. For OP to call out the mfg like this Is pretty ballsy and I don't understand the logic behind it...
