245's vs. 265's

anyone have pics of the difference on an e90? should it cost 75 more per tire?

I don't get it

and yes, wider tires are more expensive

I am considering 265/30/19 rears OR 245/30/19.

my wheels guy wants anywhere from 50-125 extra per tire to upgrade is this reasonable?
looking for pictures to show the difference in width. I suspect 265 looks better, but want to see how much better.

You should get definently get 265, I think 245 are too narrow compared to the front (235)

it's in the middle of your options and it's the stock sport pack width

Why do you have two different widths yet the same aspect ratio as your choices? Don't you care what your outer tread diameter will be?

Yeh thats about right. You should check the prices for a 275 tire. On some its almost a $60 different for one size up.

If you are going with 225's in the front then 245's would be ok but if you have 235's then 265's in back are the way to go. As far as the extra cost, I got Goodyear F1's and and the price difference between the 235's and the 265's were $5 per tire. $75 sounds a bit pricey to me.
