Strange Wiper Behavior

I had the wipers on in delay mode and shut the car off with the wipers in mid sweep. When I restarted the car the wipers stayed in the middle of the windshield. The LED for delay mode was still on. Nothing happened even though the windshield was really wet. I manually cycled the wipers and after that they worked normally.

Anyone seen this behavior before?

Shut the car off with the wipers in the at rest position. This will cure the problem.

Do any of you guys feel a slight thump on the brake pedal every time the wipers begin a wipe cycle?

I can feel it in the gas pedal.

I got the same problem. I can feel something in my pedal when the wiper are on. Did you find a solution?
