I agree with you about the M badges. BMW must think we love them. They put 16 on the 2014 M235i.

Im trying to delete as many as I can. Im wrapping my M3 steering wheel trim and getting rid of the badge, but I love the ZHP shift knob.... Gotta find a replacement for that. I am also trying to find someone with a non sport car to swap the door sills with. I just don't want the badges lol

I got rid of four of them by changing out my wheels. Now they have "BMW Performance" written on them. I don't mind that. I have three left. One on each door sill and one on the steering wheel. The only one I want is the one on the steering wheel.

I prefer it actually. Which meant the way to option the 135i for me was for the forgo the sports package and take the sport seats as a standalone option. Probably not very common overall.
