AW with "carbon" roof
Today I left my car for minor armrest repair at the dealership in London (My car actually quickly became quite a sensation as it is full "performance edition")
Nevertheless, when I walked out of the dealership I noticed this AW 120 with this fake carbon fiber roof. I was told that they have the guy who can do that. I 've seen one car here on the site with something similar but I thought I will share this with you. What do you think? I'm not sure... it looked cool from anything more than 3 feet but at closer look you clearly see it is just a "sticker" The pictures are from the link http://www.flickr.com/photos/lighter...7612567921908/ As they send it to my via email.

It does look OK from a distance, but I would never do this mod because its not real. Might as well put an "M" badge on the back while you are at it.

If you want a carbon roof, get real carbon. There's nothing wrong with that.
If you go with the "fake carbon" vinyl you might as well go all the way and get neon, lambo doors and a few fake Porsche badges. |

Vinyl CF is just the 1st step to ending up like this.

Fake carbon is just sad. It says, "I want you to think I have lightweight parts, but I can't afford the real ones." Now if it's just a vinyl color instead of paint, it's an aethetic decision based solely on looks - whichever you prefer.
Real CF is about weight savings. Fake CF is about posing.

I burst out laughing at this. Why is there a wing on the roof?
It deserves this. I call it a laughing ovation... Good God that was cheesy.
