What do I need for Bluetooth Phone retrofit?

I've researched this to the best of my ability.

just bought a very oddly spec'd 2011 128i

Has:

Navigation

Does not have:
BMW Assist
Bluetooth

Most of the stuff I read for retrofit don't have Nav - or if they do they also have Bluetooth and people are just adding Bluetooth audio streaming.

I already have a mic obviously, what else do I need and where does one get it?

I have the same issue, but I cant seem to find very many helpful posts. Anyone out care to help us out???

Hi, I have a 2011 535 BMW. My callers on the other end hear static and road noise. The Dealer tried to fix it, could not. They are aware of the problem. Has anyone bought an after market replacement system? If so, where did you get it and how is it working for you.

I've done this on my e81 1-series. You need the retrofit kit from BMW and a combox.

You may also need some brackets or something to mount the combox (I'm not sure if this is part of the retrofit kit, but I believe it is).

Retrofit kit pn is: 84 64 0 443 734 (this is without the 6FL option). I used combox pn 84109257160, but this could be different in the US.

We can definitely help with this retrofit. Like the other user said, you will need to install a Combox and we can offer you the complete package - it will include everything that you will need. It is not just a Combox, you will also need a set of special wiring and coding. Hi!
New to the forum and a new owner of a 2010 128i.. I LOVE it.. but the stereo system sucks!!
I've been lurking for a few days, and trying to read as much as I can.. I BELIEVE I have the base system.. but not sure. What is the difference between the head units? Mine has the Professional in it. What options do I have if I want to make it sound better and add bluetooth?
I have an android phone, so USB functionality isn't as important, but audio streaming / calls through the radio is.
Oh, and I was reading about the idea of adding iDrive... but my dash doesn't have that storage bin on the top...
