Avg RFT mileage

What mileage are you guys getting out of the RFT? Want to go to Michelin PSS but would also like to get some mileage out of the originals first.

I've got 36K miles on my car and I'm about to put on my fourth set of RFTs.

Other's are getting high miles (15K+) on their RFTs. Guess they depend heavily on your driving style.

I made 45,000 kms on the original tires but the rears were completely worn out with that.

25k and they were toast. My fronts were worn on the outsides badly, insides looked good. Rears were worn down to the wearbars pretty evenly.

I got 18k on the stock rears. My front RFT's still have at least 50-60% left. I mounted them on my stock 261m wheels for a full size spare...

1200 mi

Just kidding, I picked up a nail at 1200. Hated them with a passion, and it was marginally more to replace all 4 with proper summer tires and ditch the craptastic factory RFT's. Never again buying RFT's - they're not worth running down. Toss them as soon as is convenient and enjoy the PSS.

Also just noticed that you're down near SA/Austin. It never freezes down there (except maybe this oddball of a winter). I'd say get your PSS and enjoy them as much as possible.
