This is so totally true about the low beam cutoff being way too low. The xenons on my Gti were much better in that regard. I'll try to have them adjusted by the dealership next month so they illuminate a bit farther up. Yesterday I was driving to a stop sign and it was pitch dark outside. Coming on to it I couldn't clearly see the person standing next to it the beams were illuminating the ground but not the surrounding terrain... tough to describe but I was very surprised when it happened. I don't drive much at night either hence why I just noticed it.

I actually like the look of the car with halogens vs the xenons. But I agree that once you have xenons you never want to go back as they are brighter and whiter.
I have halogens and they work fine, but the xenons are worth the extra cost. |
