The wheels on the E88 are interesting, and that shade of white is perfectly nice...everything else is pointless. BMW needs to calm down with all these special editions, there's nothing special about them.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm a huge sucker for an old school brown interior. When it comes to these special edition packages, can they be added on top of M-Sport or are they mutually exclusive?

As a 1M owner, I certainly enjoy exactly that! Incredible resale value, not that I plan to!

Agreed. Brown leather isn't all that bad (although as mentioned, contrasting stitching
would've made it better)...but the brown on the steering wheel is just bizarre.

disagree. If they wanted to make the interior look good, they would make more of it match the optional Colors. So much of the interior is left black, it only looks good in black.

Now that this has been officially revealed, does anyone have any info about the price for this package and any other ordering details?

Automatic transmission and non-sport seats ruins it for me. The exterior color and interior colors are interesting. But no way I want an automatic or non-sport seats.

I don't particularly care for brown leather seats like this, unless the car was some shade of brown or tan, like maybe "Mojave". As far as convertible tops go, the one on my wife's '11 128i M-Sport convertible is "moonlight black" and has some silver threads in it, which give it a metallic sheen. It goes really well with Space Gray. I used to have a Porsche 944S2 convertible that was white with navy blue leather and top. THAT was a really sharp combination, but you never see navy blue interiors any more.

There's no chance that the Lifestyle Edition package will be tied to an automatic transmission or the standard seats. You're just seeing one interior shot to show the trim, but it's not definitive. The Lifestyle Edition will be available with a manual transmission and sport seats, and that's how I'll likely be ordering one.

Then stick with black and be happy.

I've long been frustrated with the lack of gray, brown, or navy tops, as offered by Audi, Porsche, etc. I love dark blue exteriors, but there's no way I'd get that with a black top. More top choices are better, but it should've been available all along.
