What is this part. Havent seen it on any other pictures of a 135i. Cant find a schematic online that shows it. Comes off the stock charge pipe and its piped to a unit mounted by the intake sensor and has an open pipe at the end. You can see it coming off the charge pipe between the 2 diverter valves.

I think you mean the "sound generator"

Suposed to "generate" a sporty sound into the drivers cabin................

Haven't heard it, since I put on the Performance exhaust lol

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure i get no lights then i take it off after i replace the charge pipe.

It's called a "sound suppressor" or something like that. Doesn't do anything except create turbulence as far as I'm concerned. There was no noticeable difference in sound between the stock charge pipe and when I changed to the ER charge pipe.

Edit... Sound generator. Roland beat me to the punch.

It makes for a huge pain in the ass when trying to unplug the TMAP sensor and causes air turbulence. That's about all
