128i srs reset with Creator C310+

So, I bought a slightly battered 2011 128i E82 with deployed airbags and am wondering if anyone has had success resetting the srs with the Creator C310+ scan tool?

It looks like they hit a truck hitch and the airbags deployed. Also for the time being has anyone ever bypassed the side airbags so I could delete them for the time being and not have an airbag light?

All it is doing is reading resistance so I assume you can make a resistor jumper and put it in the connector instead. Just needs to be within what the module is looking for.

Ahh, thanks I searched more based on this and apparently a 2.2 ohm resistor is what I should try. Hopefully this weekend I can try.
