For that brave and outstanding step you can open your fund to sponsor you 1-5$ from each 1addicts member and you will have your LSD to make us happier. Good luck!!!

Thanks for all of the support guys!!! I like to idea of getting members to donate money to support haha but that doesnt seem reasonable at the moment. Maybe after I am able to compete for a bit il try and do something where i do a whole portion of the car and for a 5$ per person your name will be vinyld on...

for the time being im trying to find where to get a 2 way lsd hopefully at cost in return for promoting the product at drift events and other car related events.

A buddy of mine is coming by to get the footage from me today to edit a little clip. Nothing special but il post it when were done.

As far as future events i am figuring out how to get the budget to run all of the remaining Top Drift events this season as well as maybe a few Vegas Drift proams. Thats 16 days of drifting with Top Drift and 4? days of vegas drift. at 2 sets of rears per day thatsa lotta rubber. (maybe even the pro am invitational if I can get an invite as getting a formula d license is my goal)

So, BMWs e-diff nonsense isn't complete crap after all! Still, can't wait to see your videos with a proper limited slip!

So, how did the car feel? Did you notice the e-diff working at all?

I am not a fan of the ediff at all. i didnt use the brakes the whole run but still could feel that the pedal was a little soft from overheating because it was trying to compensate for lack of traction i guess. the hardest part has to be transitioning. the car feels fine when im flat on the gas because it has enough power to spin the tires. ive found i really have to pitch the car in to get it to slide if im not on power because the rear wheels dont wants to lock together.. dont get me wrong its a great car but its not purpose built drift car yettt

ohh if you like this post and vids maybe suggest it for the homepage or cotm the more people that look at it the more it will help me get funding and parts needed to keep this going thanks!!!

Good control, fast hands! That's how you get it done right there! I only have the opportunity to drift in parking lots and wide turns where I can give myself some space. I am so jealous... I find that with the e-differential you can't start spinning them in first and then go to second and hold the slide because it just spins one wheels and yanks the car hard in one direction. If you are in second or higher and give it a little flick like you did you can maintain both wheels spinning because neither rear tire gets an opportunity to ever catch grip so therefore they both just roast. By the way, your drifting was nearly as good as a BMW factory test driver I saw in an M3 doing a drift demonstration. Good work, keep it up!

Igofast I can really relate to what you said... makes a lot of sense.

suspension is set at about 50% stiffness in the front and its as hard as it will go in the rear. Tire pressure were probably 38 hot up front and i didnt really check the rears when they were hot but started at 38-40 cold... trying to make sure they didn't have too much grip only problem was that the tires delam a lot easier when the tire pressure is to0 high but thats a problem im going to have to deal with until i can get the rear end properly set up. Im learning so dont take what i say too seriously, but i do listen a lot and ask questions as much as i can and thats what i learned from the people there.

my alignement was not the best that weekend planned on getting the car aligned this week. dont know toe but the camber should have been around 2.3-2.5neg in the front and about 1.3-1.5 in the rear.static of course. the rear was lowered a tiny bit so there was probably some more camber. the car really liked to squat down when i got on the power so i think less camber would be ideal so i can make use of more of the tire. il post pics of the tires soon

I think Berk Technology's 135i is running an OS Giken LSD, I'd try contacting them. If its not OS Giken it might be Diffs Online or something like that.
