500whp club

So i have my 1er on fbo and tuned making roughtly 400hp, i would like to get to 450-500 WHP. Any suggestions on what to add on pump93 not a big fan of meth but willdo if needed or 70/30 mix e85? Not trying to go above 500 WHP (not500hp) due to my AT transmission (550 max WHP limit). Fire away!!

Turbos, pretty much the only answer. If you want a little more power and don't have inlets you could do that as well.

Fuel it stage 2 kit + High mix of E85 and Methanol with a custom map can get you very close but you will not cross it without upgraded turbos

I might have to debate on turbo upgrade but weight out the requirements to do so and weight it financially and see if stg 1 or stg 2 is the way to go.

Upgraded turbo is only way. Even with E85 and meth you'll be maxing out the stock turbos just under 500. Plus doing so will wear them out pretty quick so turbo replacement would happen anyways. I'm FBO running E50 mix, getting a dyno done in a month or so and expect about 450-460whp. That's being generous (high altitude)

Should be able to do 450 easy with FBO+Inlets JB4/BEF and some E85. Add a PI kit and go 100% E85 and you may be able to crack 500whp on stock turbos.

If you want 500whp reliably on less than 100% E85 you may want to consider a turbo upgrade.

FWIW, it's totally feasible to reliably crack 450whp with just FBO and E85 and proper tuning.

+1 but thats really pushing the car to the edge. I wouldn't call that a reliable car anymore.

Simplest and most reliable way is with upgraded turbos, inlets and of course proper tuning should be get to those power numbers.

Sure is easier with a turbo swap, but I completely disagree with 450whp pushing the car to the edge. Only strain would be on the turbos and that is easily alleviated with inlets. It's not like you need to spin up to 25PSI to push 450. E85 fueling is safe especially with a proper LPFP and sensors and keeps combustion cooler and more resistant to knock with proper DME adjustment.

500whp on 93 octane is attractive though.

Stg 1 or 2 turbos and im looking to make it a daily driver, and atm i have a dme tune maxing the turbos out safely im pushing 420ish with e30mix the curent world record is 500whp on stock turbos but that is the no shit limit. I would like to do that on a car that is going to be used daily.

You can get really close with inlets/outlets along with FBO these days.

Could go with the JP works top mount twin scroll manifold and switch to a somewhat middle size single turbo. Doesn't get more reliable than that. Tuning for ST setups is coming along really nicely.

I'd steer clear of VTT.

Hexon makes hybrid twins as well, but no they are a separate entity from RB. Not sure if that's what you were implying.

Basically a few options, stock frame, cast twins, twin scroll single, and big single.

Once you pick the type, you can pick the manufacturer from their available options and track record with failures and customer service. If I was going to get a stock frame setup, I'd be hard pressed not to go with Pure. But, since you mentioned reliability, I'm not sure anyone's really had them on long enough to see if they really last longer than the other options.

I was saying they have the same internal sizes. And yes ima go with them along with the diy fpm1 stage 2 fuel kit with vtt inlets and go e50. Got in contact with bms and confirmed 530WHEEL TORQUE is the max "safe" limit for our AT transmission anyting above that increases the risk of slipping or reduces life and reliability of the transmission even if level 10. Just for the other AT guys out there that wanted to know. When I actually get the funds and time to do the project ill write a full review of parts reliability quality and overview of the setup pro/cons do/donts and general insight.
