A day of fun runs? Who wouldn't be stoked?

Good to note that visitors will be severely limited due to nature of the event. We normally allow anybody to swing by and check out our events, even passenger with drivers on course, but not on this Sunday's event. It is a true memorial autocross for a friend of our program (our course designer) who has recently passed away.

No Subaru for the event. It is together has has been run. I runs nice and smooth, too. However, I got sent the wrong clutch slave. So, no clutch.

Damn, had any of us been there at that discovery, I'm sure we'd learn a few new words.

Anyway, see you tomorrow anyway!

Was a freaking blast! We got lots of seat time, great mix of folk, was ultra-laid back, and the tributes to John left few dry eyes. We have almost no issues with timing, and the only reruns we allowed were for red flag conditions, making cars zip thru the staging line at a really fast pace.

We did put John's car on a flatbed trailer, propped up his helmet, and towed the car, in reverse, around the course at procession speed during a segment of silence. It was much more powerful than I ever expected it to be.

We passed a bucket to raise some donations to the local food pantry in John's name, and we came a smidgeon shy of $4000! They'll be psyched over that!

Like Larry said, A BLAST! My best time of the day was with Larry in the car and is was my last run of the day. I threw it away by missing a gate, one gate before the finish.

Yep, those were a couple of nice long drifts. $1 per rev per tire. Pay up! I need a set of Star Specs for the Subie!
