Bilstein PSS10

Anyone on the board with Bilstein PSS10? I have an opportunity to get one set for very good price, but my concern is ride height. Someone on the board posted while a go that was an issue with trying to set ride height(i guess heighest setting was to low for our car) appreciate your help. Thank you

i did a lot of research on them, from what i found the min drop is a lil over and inch. Measure it out and see if that would be too low for you

after all my research I found the KW v2s to be the best bang for buck and performance

The shop that did my suspension on my 135i has a 335i with PSS10s. They set the front ride height at the maximum and they said it's still too low. (and it looks slammed)

I think there are other options out there for the money. I would spring for KW Clubsports if you want a great combination of price/performance. Contact Alan at **********s for the best pricing.

I have them they are slammed however I've never rubbed even with 235's up front. The travel is almost nothing in these but the ride is very comfortable for such an amazing performing suspension. I like them but if you don't want a slammed car or want to run 19's then your hosed

The KW V1, V2, and V3 will allow you to lower your car 1.2-2.1 inches in the front and 0.9-2 inches in the rear.

I have just installed PSS10 on my 135 and I am very happy. I don't find them too low at all. I have the setting midway and I clear all gutters - speed humps etc.. I have a 30mm ride hight drop front and rear (as measured at the fron and rear gaurd) I beleive I could go up or down 20 mm from where it is at the moment.

I do however have vorshlag strut tops with 60mm springs - so that may add a little extra ride height over using the standard strut mount with the springs supplied with Bilstien.

I am extremely happy with the PSS10 - especially the range of adjustment. You can feel the change in the shocks with just a few clicks on the settings. It is very noticable
change.

I have around 340lb front springs and 560lb rear springs. This combination with a low (soft) shock setting (2/3 clicks from full soft - scale 1 to 10) and non runflat tyres is about the same as the standard car & tyres in terms of ride harshness - however it is a MAJOR improvement in handling, grip and control. If you choose settings around the 5 to 8 mark - it makes the ride a little more jittery - however you get a further improvment in steering response and grip.

Interesting. How are the PSS systems pricewise in comparison to KW's offerings? Have not really seen them for sale...

When you state the 'standard' car, do you mean the non-sport suspension? I'm assuming that that equates to the North American non-sport(?). Thx for any info!

They only offer one suspension specification for the 135i in Australia, which I beleive is the sports option (but I am not 100% sure).

just installed a set of pss9. bought it for $1k from turner. what a steal! rear drop is 1" and that's as far as it goes. front drop is 1.25". DD setting is on soft and it's very complaint around our sucky roads. will be tracking in a few weeks so I can't wait to see the improvements. there are better coilovers out there but for $1k it would be hard to beat
