Here is mine! No, I did not go to the driving school. Mainly bought it cause of the metal clip. Its over a year old so its starting to get a little bit dirty

I gotta the little one all washed and shined up but came across this is the picture below some sort of stain between the fold of my Sideview mirror.

I have no idea what it is or how it got there but it will NOT come off and I'm about to lose it! Any ideas on a solution that will remove this? I've tried wax and of course wash but it dries back to this.

Looks like that is faded plastic from the sun. Back to black?
Take it off, sand, paint gloss black and top it with clear coat?
