refuelling issue?

The car takes me forever to fuel, it continually shuts the pump off when I try to fill it. I have to keep starting and stopping. Anyone know why this happens?

No idea but I have the same problem, intermittently. I think it depends on the temperature and the type of nozzle on the pump. Seems to work better the closer to empty it is. Once it does get going I can finish filling to 100% though.

Don't insert the nozzle all the way down. Choke up an inch or two.

Garage List
I had the same problem at the beginning... Tilting up the pump handle a little more took care of it.

Same here, seems more prone to happen at some gas stations around the neighborhood than others. I too just change the angle a little until it works.

No idea why, but that's how it is. So - your'e not crazy

I have had this issues since day one. Its always such a PITA to refill the (tiny) gas tank.

Mine always clicks off at 8 liters and then again at 15 liters on an empty tank. Once I get a few liters past those marks... the gas nozzle then works fine. Its just a PITA to get past 8L and 15L marks.

Question Same here

I found if I just apply slight pressure down on the handle and it doesn't shut off
