Arrow German car wash... Washstrasse...

I thought some of you might like to see what a German car wash looks like. Its pretty much the same machine they have all over the world. Although the German ones wash from UNDER the car as well.

I always wash my 1er by hand... but I do take my old 5er to the automatic car wash.

While I love the drying mechanism, I'm still having withdrawals after watching those plastic bristles spinning...and spinning...and spinning.

It's a wonder your 5er has any paint left, Dack!

I can't believe I watch the whole 6:24 video of your car being washed! It was very interesting though for some reason. I guess i was trying to compare it to all the carwash places i have gone to before and comparing the subtle differences. Seems your wash gets better coverage and dries way better than the ones I been too. Would have loved it for my old truck. By the way I hand wash my 1er too and would never let that touch it.

There is a regular "drive thru" car wash here, that pulls your car thru the wash. The special weird thing about that one is the soap bubbles are pink/purple/blue and smell real good. lol Maybe I should go there.

+1.

I'd let my car stay dirty rather than take it through a car wash.
