The only actual HDR is my angled front picture (next to the trailer). The others obviously have some PS done to them.

No offense to the OP, in fact, I think these shots look really cool in their own way.. its a nice style. Very unique!!

However, the purpose of HDR is to enhance underexposed areas of pictures to bring the overall levels up... it's done by taking 3 or so shots at different exposures then blending them. Photomatix is used to blend those 3 shots, though Photoshop (Merge) can be used as well. This is why you see HDR used often in outdoor shots, say, where the foreground is underexposed and the sky is overexposed. You do need to take multiple shots. Canon SLRs can do this using AEB.

Examples.. http://www.vanilladays.com/hdr-guide/\

EDIT: Just saw cozza's HDR shots...DAMN! Nice job man!!!!! Awesome!

I like the look of the overdone HDR, definitely wasn't going for a subtle look.

Is it wrong that I'm more excited by these photos than photos of beautiful women?

Agree 100%. These are modified to look art-y and they do look super cool, but they are not really HDR.
