Here's Yer Wallpapers...

Hi all,

I just uploaded photos of my new SGM 128i sport taken this morning in the bright sun of the Livermore Valley wine country. You can really see how the unique metallic color accents the lines and flame surfacing of the 1. I am very pleased with the SGM/Taupe/Walnut combo, and this great Lil' Einer! It looks very rich in real life.

Enjoy! :roundel:

Really beautiful! Twin to my ED car to be picked up this fall, except for the 6-speed.

Many thanks for all the wonderful shots of your SGM 128 in the Wine Country. My wife and I have talked a number of times about doing a California Wine Country tour...that'd certainly be the way to to it..if not perhaps in a 'vert with weather that perfect!

Many colors look very good on the 1 series and I vacillate from one to the other..yet SGM still seems to be the color I could live with forever...then the choices get to the interior..gotta say those two tone leather combos are very nice..Coral/Black, Terra/Black and Savanna Beige/Black.....

Enjoy & thanks! Rick

Is there ANY hint of "purple" in the SGM at all?

Thanks for the great feedback!

128er - I love the Taupe leatherette. I wanted to stay with a light colored interior with the hot sun here in CA. I don't know how it will wear yet, but it looks and feels pretty close to leather, and if I had to do it over again I would.

adk749 - There are some lighting conditions that bring out scintilla of Amethyst, but so far I have not seen anything objectionable, and in fact find it a very interesting and dynamic color.

These are beautiful pictures. I'm so happy I changed to SGM from Montego. Thanks for making it even harder for me to endure the wait.

What's the difference between a 128i and a 128i Sport?

The 128i with the sport package added is what I (and some others) am referring to as a "128i sport".

On the 128 it includes sport seats, shadowline trim, sport suspension (like 135), and different wheels with wider tires.

The Palm trees are at Mitchell Katz, some pictures from in front of Ruby Hill, and Concannon.

I ordered fairly early - before Easter, so I got MSRP plus a few goodies (mats, hats, keychains, mugs, etc.). I was offerred 500 under from a dealer 40 miles away with a poorer reputation, so I stayed local. I didn't expect to get discounts then, but you may start to find them now.
