Quandary......

Hi all,

Sorry i've been off here for a while but I lease busted out my modified 135i cab and got an M3 sedan (silly cheap lease payment). But I'm back now and have just put my name down for the 3rd new 1M order out of Endras BMW

Because of this I have moved the M3 on and got a 'stand in' MINI JCW - which is great, however I realised after delivering a 128i sport to a customer in Ottawa - just how much I miss my old 1, and would like another ASAP.

We have a nice Le Mans Blue Ex Canada demo/press car at work that I can get a great lease deal on - but its DCT, and I am purely a manual car driver!!!

What would you do in the same position?

If someone on here said they would take the 135i lease off me later in the year (summertime) i'd get it! Payment would be sub $700 taxes in

Car has everything but Nav, literally everything inc rear pdc

Thoughts please crew?

Aren't those press cars being heavily abused by journalists and participants of all kinds of events?

Hey guys,

No sadly I am as 'in the dark' as you with regards to pricing + packaging so I suppose it'll be a little leap of faith.............

MSRP aside, im kinda banking on the following (IMO)

1) M-Drive package $2500-3000 CDN?
2) Executive (inc premium sound) $3700-4900CDN
3) Premium sound circa $1800

No Sunroof, EDC or DCT options are available (so i've heard), and its just 1 interior option + the 3 colours! Which i'm curious if the metallics (Black and Orange) will hold a $800 premium over the white??!???!

Guess we'll just have to wait and see! US is $47,140 right? i'd like to hope it start around the Mid 50's, but i suppose that'll depend on how they see its product fit next to the $58,800 335is coupe.......................!

Well really, I mean how much abuse can you do in a Provence that at just 93mph the car gets confiscated!! Oops 150km/h, forgive my 'Church of England' conversion

BMW Canada (as with their track cars), review any excess wear before dealers buy the car from them - they are good at replacing excessively worn parts!!

Anyway, the cars are designed and built for 'enthusiastic use' right? And im yet to drive a 'well run in ex press car' (in the UK or Canada) that isnt very fluid in feel and response Cars still have loads of warranty and care, so buy or lease with confidence and enjoy the savings

M-drive package? You mean iDrive?

Ouch, this car is going to be mid 60s if you start touching options. I was really dreaming...

Hang on who works for the company here?!?! LOL

I mean M-Drive -Its essentially I-drive for M cars, and is labelled so because it contains setting adjustments specific to the M vehicles. Current E9X M3's order guides have this by example..........But I could be wrong!

I just saw the Orange one at Detroits Autoshow today (16/01/11) and it looks great, sorry I mean sensational!!!! And interestingly retains power folding mirrors as part of its options guide (unlike 2011 135i coupes that have lost it from their options package!)

Just labelled it as 'Navigation Package' on the plaque there, so I could be wrong - it would just make sense to keep the theme running through the family bloodline

Anyone got an opinion on my original Quandary? Go for the 135i demo even though it aint my beloved manual transmission?

Would anyone be interested (or know someone who is), in assuming the lease when I get my 1M??

Honestly, you got only few months for the M to come out... I would wait
You probably won't have a problem to find some-one to take over the lease, but it's a hassle nevertheless.

All different story then. Go for it then, play with DCT and when time comes you will appreciate full manual gearbox even more

How about you take over my lease that ends in July 2012?

Everything except Nav. Manual too. PM me for details.

Btw, I'm paying 49x$ monthly because of downpays
