Navigation - "Function Currently Not Available"

I've got a weird iDrive Nav problem that BMW customer relations was unable to help me resolve. Basically, I can store a navigation destination on one of the preset buttons and I can verify that it is attached to the button but pressing the button results in a "Function Currently Not Available" message but radio stations and phone numbers attached to buttons work fine.

Next step is to get my CA to try to make it work for me. After that, I guess I'm looking at a trip to the service department. This shouldn't be that hard.

It happened to me also, but only right after I started the car and the navigation was not up yet. A few seconds later it was working again.

Did you try to assign the same address to a different button, does it not work with any address or just one contact?

No combination of address/button assignment works and it doesn't matter how long the car is operational.

I never had any problem with that function but I haven't checked it since the new software update. I'll try to check tonight.

also, my night vision is not working - seems to only switch over when it tells me to take an exit - even though.. i have night vision checked..(which I think should be automatic when you have the lights on or detects its dark out)
