Bmw performance springs Koni Yellows and what else?

My car will get a makeover in about 2 weeks. A shop quoted me $500.00 to install BMW performance springs with Koni Yellows. This also includes tire alignment. This was the cheapest price I've found. Other quotes I got were $921.00, $900.00, and $700.00.

Since they will be working on my suspension, what else should I have them install that wouldn't affect the install price? I don't want to get m3 bushings because that requires additional work, but since I'm paying $500.00 I was hoping to get couple m3 parts added. I'm not looking to track, but might as well take advantage of the installation Thanks!!

I'm liking the HD control arm bushings from HP Autowerks. They will lessen your on-center play and tighten the steering, improving the feel also. They were $72 and will add a bit to your install cost but I am very glad I did them.

Definately get the BMW PS F/R bumpstops. Dan@United can help you with those.
Maybe new shock mounts depending on how many miles you've got.
Maybe camber plates?
That's the only overlapping labor.

I actually got the bump stops from Dan along with the springs. Hmm, so maybe I can get away with camber plates.

Fireflyer239- I reread your pm and saw that you were selling the bump stops. I already placed the order. I hope you get your money back.

Don't just disappear after you've had the work done.

Some of us want to know what it's like with suspension mods

You may want to consider adding the Dinan camber plates. They are fixed plates (so there are no noise issues) and they add about 3/4 of a degree of negative camber. It's not a much, but they are pretty cheap and will pay for themselves by evening out your tire wear.

You might consider the rear upper shock mount kit from Dinan. Not a bad price for $100 and will give you some additional travel before you hit the bumpstops.
