Prof NAV tip

I don't know whether this has been discussed before but I find the night NAV map easier to live with at night so I tried programing night mode to one of the idrive buttons. It worked and now I can swap between night mode and day mode maps by pressing one button. Very convenient.

Is that the 09 prof nav or the older flip-up 08 version?

I seem to remember trying that without success...

Yup - sounds like the same as mine - apparrently v14 is out though... I'm getting the dealership to see what the latest version is.

That's funny i thought it would be v15 as mine is v14 from november last year.

Hmmm.... Weird - I wonder if there is some way of finding out what the latest version really is.... BTW Chappy - great to meet you last weekend!

I'll give it another go. Haven't driven my 1er in 3 weeks. My partner has been away so I've been driving the Mazda6 as the petrol is free. And it's less scary on our currently very icy roads...
