How many M Coupes will make it Down Under?

Haven't seen anything about whether or not Australia will take delivery of the new 1 Series M Coupe. Anyone know anything?

If you haven't seen the partial unveil in Paris today on M-Power.com, here's a link:

talking about the 1M, is it just me or anyone else prefer the M sport and 1M front bumper than the Performance package front?

The performance bumper looks hideous, but I do like the BMWP splitters...

I don't see why the transmission choice is a deal breaker, I'm absolutely happy with the 6MT if I could afford to upgrade to the M coupe. Remember, when the E9x M3 came out, it was only available in 6MT for a year or so.

However, considering that the 200 car allocation for the 135i back in 2008 was snapped out pretty much straight away, I don't think many of us are even gonna get close to the M

That 200 car allocation in 2008 was bullsh!t. Just marketing hype to make us rush out and buy.
If I was buying an M car, I'd definitely/only want a manual.
