Surprised!

BMW warrantied my floor mats! The logo area of the drivers side map started to come up. I informed my SA when I dropped it off only to return to new mats. Thought I would share, that is all. NE 1 else get their mats covered?

yes,

and they will / should cover them if the stupid velcro patch tears away or becomes un-stuck..

I suspect that they dont want any "loose" floor mats floating around... its not worth the 150.00 mats for the gazillion in stuck accelerator pedals ( because of mats) being pawned off as unintended acceleration.

the velcro thingy recently pulled up from my floorboard, resulting in the mat sliding around and getting under the clutch at times. it was disconcerting and a distraction.

my dealer fixed the mat, but they did not replace it. dang.
