I am not sure if the shark fin comes with iDrive or comes with Bluetooth.
I dont know how much extra for the Bluetoothoption, but I know the iDrive option is $40000.

btw, will you consider sports seats?
the shark fin comes with the bluetooth option

Hi cnt,
Yes, I cannot find the bluetooth in any option list (include price list and catalog). I saw it on all E90 in the showroom. I did not ask the sales when I ordered as I presumed the shark fit is a std equipment. Let me check 1st tomorrow.

My extra option included sport suspension, sport seat and Xenon. That it, no sunroof and auto flod mirror. The sunroof is totally useless for me and it only create rattles. However the sales said adding sunroof will help when you sell it. Yes, may be right but no point to pay extra that I do not want.

You went to Is250 show? I did not as I already test the IS few weeks ago. It is a good car but you will feel boring. maybe IS350 is better but Toyota HK will not import to HK in a foreseeable future.

Btw, just bought a E90 mod book in Japanese book store. Very informative especially on the wheel section.

+++ shark fin is like an antenna , or else just for decoration

+++ xenon, sport suspension, sport seats are MUST HAVE because all these 3 will give you entirely different feel of your car. You made the right choice.
The reason I suggested sports seats (and I did not order) because the standard seats are not much more comfortable, so give the sports seats a try and at least it looks sporty.

+++ based on several mags I read , the ISO cornering is pretty weak. I think the Select Package 310K is still a ok price for someone. For this money, I will consider Mazadaspeed6 or RX8.

Btw, just bought a E90 mod book in Japanese book store. Very informative especially on the wheel section.

+++ not sure if that was the one I suggested.?

Greeting brothers

Got an E90 320i February this year (placed order in Oct 2005!) and have completed 4000km today. Took the car to Esso for a change of Mobil 1 0W40 - it did make some difference in terms of engine sound, smoothless in acceleration and fuel consumption.

You guys are fantastic in doing all these mods and I haven't done anything so far - just to save up some bucks and to run in the car for a further while before anything will likely be undertaken. The tyres, if not the rims, are what I'm minded to replace eventually.

Looking forward to joining the next meet if you guys wouldn't mind letting me in

I took my car to an Esso station at Po Lam (near Tseung Kwan O) for the oil change. Just passed by the area today so took the chance of trying it out. Before going to have the oil change I got BMW original filter from Mongkok (Valiant).

For 5L Mobil 1 0W-40 (straight 6 engine will need at least 7L or 8L I guess) + labour charge + oil disposal fee = $910. BMW filter at $90 each. The oil change costed me $1000 exact. I heard that if you do an unscheduled oil change at BMWHK, it will be around HK$2000.

The technician said the oil taken out was not extremely dirty, so I guess you may change it at around 5000km.

I'll have my next lube changed at 10000km.

Yes, BMWHK will charge ~2k for just changing oil. I have changed once back in Feb. (not in BMWHK)

Neekulaz, nice to meet another 320i owner here.

Hope to see you in the next meet.

FYI, just changed the tyre pressure to 31 psi all round on the 17". Feels more comfortable and not so noisy.

Nice to meet you, Neekulaz! :rocks:

I am new to this BMW Condition-Base Service thing....wondering if you change the oil when the car didn't tell you to....will the car sense that it has new oil and postpone the next-service date/mileage?

I am not sure if the shark fin comes with iDrive or comes with Bluetooth.
I dont know how much extra for the Bluetoothoption, but I know the iDrive option is $40000.

btw, will you consider sports seats?
Shark fin comes with either idrive or bluebooth, bluebooth option prices is $7800+ tax.

I asked my SA about the shark fin...he quoted me $800 for parts+paint+installation.......and he is very keen on charging me 65% tax within the first 6 months....so I'll hold.

You can get the shark fin for around HK$180 unpainted without the BS 65% tax

That was the price BMWHK has charged me. Since my car was already 6 months old, they have no excuse to charge me.
I will say $800 is ok. If they charge you tax, forget it at this moment.
