No fender work needed at -2.1* camber and wheel positioned as close as safely possible to the strut. However, I will give them a flatter roll just to be safe.

Rear is rubbing quite a bit, surprised me actually. Will roll those tomorrow after fender roller comes in.

Just an FYI, the metal on the rear fenders is VERY thick and are a huge PITA to roll/pull. Scrape off as much of the underbody sealant crap as possible and use a lot of heat. I have rolled a lot of fenders in my day and none were as difficult as this car's. I flared mine a tiny bit for a super agressive fitement/look. I'll post pics soon.

LOL. I saw this post after attempting to do rears and giving up. I will revisit this weekend when I have more time. Thanks for the suggestions!

Sorry to bring this back up but just wanna say that looks mean as hell. I was searching trying to figure out if I can run an 18x9 square setup with a set of fifteen52 turbomacs. Doesn't look as hard as I originally thought.

Thumbs up

Thank you for this thread!

I'm still trying to work out what to buy. I want a 18x9+30ish 255/35/18 on a lowish e87 with a light roll.

Apex recommend 18x8.5+42 (which they admit requires spacing)
The 18x9+42 has the same inner clearance although with the outer lip being placed the same as the 18x8.5+35/38

18x9+30 will give a nicer fit atheistically, great inner clearance but the question has always been how much guard work is required.

Have you tried to fit the +30 on the rear?

Bumping this up. Did you need the ET35 to clear the strut, or was that a decision made for aesthetics? IIRC, you were running 18x9 ET40, and you cleared the strut?

I have few questions for you. My plan is 18x8.5 et35 all around with 245/35/18 Michelin PSS. Currently running stock sport suspension and not lowered but I do have Dinan camber plates to dial more negative camber up front. Do you think my setup will fit just fine with enough negative camber? The choice of rolling the fender will be the last resort. Also, any reason why you shave the bumper tab? Is it because you lowered or what? Please let me know. Thanks!
