Silly. You are at least partially at fault. Why did you buy the item if it was damaged? You had the opportunity to inspect it personally. If you didn't take advantage of that, it's nobody's fault but your own...

I am not commenting on anything I don't know. But, if you did have a friend present it is possible the buyer felt threatened. I do not know the situation, depends on mood, light, someone can easily feel threatened if they don't go ahead and buy anyways.
You claim to have made transactions before, yet not 1 single feedback? I know sometimes feedback is hard to come by.. I've recently sold 3 or more items here.. shipped next day.. fedex.. and no feedback from anyone.. However stating "to all the people I've dealt with" implies multiple sales and not one single "itrader feedback"? I would've personally walked away.. but if I feel I'm in danger then that's a different story. There's something to definitely be worked out here..

I want Everyone Reading this to know:
This Kid, straight up just slapped my face.. This is my whole Night.. I get out of car, and turn around, as it so, I witnessed the seller drop the knob, from shear excitement.. It happens.. Seller Picked it up, examined, Inspected, spotted the damage, and let the buyer look at it, elaborated on how bad he even felt about the inconvenience, of driving out mad far to sell, and in the end cause a blemish, which by the way, I didnt get a chance to see, or even touch.. I was like wow, sorry pal, and walked away to check out this kids car, cause I noticed it grunted rather diff than other 135i's Ive saw, and I didnt know what they were talkin about. As I walk back, it seemed like they mustve even reached some deal, after talking during my away. As the buyer walked back, and as I asked how much did he run, he told me he ran a low 12, and listed the mods, and his opinions, about JB, which followed by the seller instructing the buyer to Allen Key the knob to fit, a take care, good night was the last words.. As we were like 5 min away already on our way home, he called to tell us its not made for the car, hes trying to fit it, and says dude its not for the car, it dont fit.. Seller thought maybe when the Knob Met ground, the internal unit that fastens the knob to shifter might have fell out.. We arrived, I had the seller open the trunk for me, to get a flash light to check the ground, as I came around, I noticed it was fitted, and Seller telling buyer again about the allen key tool that came for assembly, and even overheard the buyer saying from joy, ye dude I was getting worried cause, Im used to the BMW knobs that just pop right on.. and we Left again.. Moral of the story, We are not pirates, I didnt have a cutlass, You werent forced to buy anything, Your money was in your pocket, sellers shift knob was in your hands.. I bought used things before plenty, everyone did so too.. You couldve said, ok, sorry not interested. Simple? Right? Your unfortunate transaction I feel for the both of you, The Choice was yours, not upto me, or seller.. I turned a lot of used things down in my life because of choice.. Dont make it seem like you didnt. You DID.. The reason Why I write this is to Call you a liar, and not so much about the transaction. But about ME. If anything I said wasnt true, Ill leave you a negative Feedback for being a F**king Liar..

Just wanted to come in here and say...this quote right here is SIG worthy!
I also wanted to come in here to say that in Arsenyc and Point N Shoot's defense that these guys are stand up and I've dealt with them both before in the past. You really need to man up and either not buy things out of guilt and then come on the forums and cry about it. This is pure buyer's remorse. You live and learn. Good luck on the next transaction.

im sorry, i had to join and reply to this.
I know both Seller and the friend he was with as do many on this board. LOL how could you possibly feel threatened by either of them? One is 5'8 weighs about 125 pounds and the other is 5'4 and wobbly lol. Just reading your argument is giving me a headache. So many flaws in your statement and then when Arseny makes his rebuttal, you go off on something that has nothing to do with what he just said. |

i just came into the board to argue against the threatening part. No way either one of these kids look or would be threatening. You did a bad job of buying an item. And honestly if I was arsen, I wouldn't be giving back your money either. A small discount maybe. I dont know what you did on the way home with it. For all I know, you talking about knobs and stuff, might have rubbed one off on it.

What pressure? You keep throwing the Word PRESSURE around,
Like you were Part of a JigSAW game in SAW7.. You Clearly saw it Fall Accidentally.. You did more than examined, How do I know? You Asked Seller to make Change... Like Hello? No one sold you a lemon here, where you were deceived.. No one said you have 10 seconds or we leave.. I can see why your pretty upset.. Because of possible regret.. But its OK, You just somewhat got me tight, Accusing me of things I didn't even execute Last Night..

Just my 2 cents. If someone buys something from me, and isn't satisfied with it, as long as it isn't damaged, I take it back. That is the gentleman thing to do. This sounds like a couple of kids fighting.

2 mistakes....
1) buyer should of inspected the knob closely( in good light) after it dropped and REFUSED purchase. Buyer's mistake 2) A good vendor would of inspected the knob together with the buyer immediatly to determine the damage and adjust price if needed....especially if the seller dropped it..If buyer had an issue just 30 minutes after sale then a reasonable vendor....should of refunded this man his purchase price..... Any vendor i have dealt with would of taken this back with no questions asked if it was damaged. If buyer bought it and new it was damaged than that is another story...but in the heat of the moment the way this is coming down it sounds like both the seller and the buyer are at fault....I am running my own retail business for 24 years now....and this shit is just not the way to do business..... |
