Paint and labor is still being sorted out. Also has to be wrapped. The rear conversion with labor, paint, parts, and wrap (rear quarters/rear bumper) is coming out to $6,400.

Still have to do the front too, but the parts are ordered.
How was this possible? Those prices are way to cheap. You sure someone didn't order your the wrong parts.... cause otherwise you got some crazy mad hook-ups at the dealer.

Never got quoted such low prices for parts. Heck I even wanted to do a M conversion for my Dinan 5 and the front and rear bumpers are going to run me at least $2000 non painted. Not to mention any other parts that are going to be needed.

You sir are one lucky SOB!!!!

If you say you have not gotten the mirrors, they are going to be expensive.

I have got them on my car and depending the options you have, can run you up to $800 bucks. I got these through Rusnak with a discount. The discount really didn't help much.

Can't wait to see your car finished. Good Luck!!!

Yep! I was scared too. I wasn't sure if they were the right parts because the diagram seemed to show normal 1 series parts but so far the bumper and fenders have come in and they're correct. Waiting on side skirts and fender reflectors now which I got for free because they quoted me wrong on the delivery of the side skirts.

I don't even know anyone at the dealership so I was pretty surprised I got those prices. Maybe it was a mistake on their part lol.

Hi I would be interested in the part number list too.

I am also wondering, what are you gonna do with the exhaust? fully customized?

In my country, law on exhaust modification is pretty tight. Retro fit OEM would be best but very unlikely imho.

I will get the part number list shortly!

As far as the exhaust, my exhaust right now is straight piped haha. LTBMW just told me they'd figure something out. I'll probably stop by next week and see what they're up to!

Hey guys, I just looked up the part numbers on RealOEM, and when I googled those part numbers, they showed the exact same prices. So they're almost certainly the right parts from a 1M.

What I'm wondering is - are these a direct retrofit? Or do they require some sort of modification to be applied to a 135? The previous owner did some mediocre-quality fender rolling on my car, so I was thinking about going back to OEM fenders... but with these prices, I'm tempted to convert to a 1M front end...

Any idea If we can put only the fenders and m bumper on the 135? The sideskirts seem identical in the front end and I'm not going to touch my back end.

There was a guy from Sweden a few months back who was featured on the front page. He had made his own e87 (or was is a e81 ?) 1M hatch. I think you guys should PM him. Try looking on the old front pages.

FOUND IT!!!

Yeah, I didn't get the axles or anything yet but I may do that! I'm just in a rush to get this ready by next week for SEMA. The wheels I'm putting on will be a new line from ADV.1. You will see shortly!

These are a DIRECT fit to the 135i. Everything bolts right up as long as you buy every 1M piece. The side skirts are made to fit the front fenders and quarter panels, so without those it won't line up. The front bumper does require new headlight brackets though. I'll post more about that once I find out from LT.

The side skirts will not line up. I'm not sure exactly why but I'm sure you can get them modified to work with just the 1M front. In that case maybe you should keep the OEM 135i and see if they can get the front of those to fit to the fenders.

The front just costs whatever I posted previously. Paint really depends on your local shop. I'm getting mine vinyled right now because we don't have enough time to paint and vinyl and get it ready in time for SEMA. If you can manage to do what I said earlier in this post with modifying the OEM side skirts, you can get away with just the bumper and fenders for about $1k. Not bad at all!

Anyway guys, I should have photos VERY shortly. It's getting prepped for SEMA. I might debut it without the new wheels but the wheels will be on after SEMA for sure. We shall see. So much to do with so little time!

Wow, that's awesome... and several thousand dollars cheaper than the Prior Design kit. Looks like I'll be on a quest to find somebody to modify my side skirts...

All N54 and N55 axle backs are the same right? I know N54 guys use n55 midpipes so there has to be some sort of connection. My car is straight piped right now and an N55 so I could essentially just get the N54 1M Axle back and it'll work, right?

Many 1M owners have replaced the N54 midpipe with an N55 pipe and it bolts directly up. I can't how this would be any different. Don't quote me, but I would say you should have no issues with this.

Yep, that's my thought as well. Just wanted some clarification! Now lets see if I can find an exhaust in time or if I have to go custom.
