Engine Managment Systems
So, seeing as I haven't seen this posted I'll jump on it. Are there any companies out there that plan on, or are in the process of mapping a full standalone unit? I am familiar with Hydra, MegaSquirt, and AEM of which I currently run in my other project car.
Not to knock piggybacks, of which every tune is that's out there, but I like a more in depth, do it myself approach. And with a build I have in mind a piggy back can only take me so far, as we all know. So, if anyone's got any insight on anyone designing a standalone for BMW post it up please. And may I suggest finally that there be a separate section for all piggybacks and engine tuning software from the mechanical mods section. Easy access to latest software availability and support without fishing. -Dan- |

Not that i know of, but i believe cobb is going to release professional tuning software so you can tune the stock ecu to handle anything you want.
