HRE FF15 fitment. PLEASE HELP
Hey guys, I have a good deal on HRE FF15, but i dont know if they will fit on my car. Please help
Currently, i have B12 pro-kit, m3 bits in the front, apex ec-7 in 18x8.5 ET45, 18x9.5 ET58 in the rear. MPSS 225/265. The current set up fit perfectly with no spacers, and no rub. The set up i wanna go with is HRE FF15 18x8.5 ET 40 and MPSS 225 (carry them over from EC7) 18x9 ET44 and MPSS 265 (carry them over) Will this fit? will i need spacers? will the rear tire too big on the rims? will i rub? Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

I don't know what you mean by a B12 pro kit. If that means you are lowered, how far?
Your front wheels will probably be 2mm from your strut, the tire will be a tad closer. Should fit, a very small spacer should fix it, unless there is something weird about your strut mount. A 265 MPSS will fit very full on a 9" rim. Will be fine and will look very aggressive. It might rub your fender. A spacer would make it worse. Going to an alignment shop and having them max out your camber should make it work it it rubs. Make sure they reduce your toe to between zero and the recommended level or you'll eat up your tires. So basically I think it will work fine, no rub, but it will be very close. Good luck.

I'm lowered around an inch myself. Just looked up HRE FF15, so I guess that stands for 15 spokes. Should look great. Why are you switching, trying to get more of a concave look? Or just found a good deal on HRE? Nvm, you are probably just one of those change wheel dudes (aka wheel whore)..lol.

Front should be fine. The rears are going to be close. Here's my car on 18x9.5ET45 in the rear, 265/35/18.
You've got a little less offset since you're a tiny bit less wide, but very similar setup. My car rubs a bit as is, fenders are rolled, could be done a bit more aggressive and I think it'd be fine. Have yet to get it on the alignment rack, was going to see what .5-1.0 degree of camber did, since it seems like it barely starts to get the tire so it doesn't need much. It's tight, but do-able. Also, tires do fit differently for the same size. I think Continentals run a bit wider than Michelins if I remember right, so that may also be on your side. |

Hopefully that will prevent the rubbing? I didn't realize 265s would fit the 9" inch wheels. I'm starting to wonder if I could fit 245/35 & 265/35.

My fronts are et35 8.5 for the record, not et45 as gang plank mentioned. As tight as they are, the rear has more clearance issue than my front does. But, gangplanks info is fantastic just take what he said into consideration.

Yep, you get it all figured out then it will work on one car and not on another. And even moreso it will work with one brand or model of tire and not another. Most of us figured it out a long time ago as we converted to aftermarket wheels a few years after we bought our cars, so there are tons of old threads on fitment.
One cool thing is stock adjustments will allow you get around 3deg of rear camber. I had to do that when I went to 255 PSSs until I did the brake rotor hub mod. That mod will gain you around 7-8 mm. Good luck.
