It is coming soon. I believe SleK would like to catch up on fulfilling the 135i M Sport Front Lip group buy orders and have a fully finished hood.

Maybe as early as next week!

Lol, it isn't released yet unfortunately. Just make sure to add yourself as #1 when HP Autowerks does the group buy and you should get one of the first ones.

But as for painting, I know Harold has a shop that does all of his painting as well as local customer painting. But the problem with that is I think the best painting shops use a machine to scan your cars current paint and then compare it to factory and it determines what it should paint the current piece. Problem would be is that you aren't local so Harold couldn't guarantee how it would turn out.

Harold can correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's why places don't paint parts before shipping them.

If I were you though I would either just post in your local section(here or E90/m3 post) asking for paint shop recommendations or just check yelp. Hope it helps.

Usually the good stuff should have 4.5 stars or better. Don't go below 4 stars and make sure there are a decent number of reviews.

we don't plan to sell them painted. You can never get the paint to match without having the car there, especially on something this big.

Paint fades variably due to exposure to environmental factors like UV. How could they match your unique variation of DSB over the Internet?

It's hard to match with your car in the shop...imagine trying to do that without seeing your car.

If your body panels were painted in a differnt day or location at the BMW factory than your bumpers or rocker panels...you will notice the color is slightly off.

Maybe his confusion comes from y'all's use of the term "match".
Say his car is faded. You're not changing your paint's formula slightly, right? You still use the formula specified by the color code.
What you do is to spray over adjacent panels (either entirely or partially) to make it blend in, right?

You can send in your fuel door, and they can match that. If they are competent.

Trunk pricing will be announced at the same time as hood pricing and the rest of SLeK's 1M kit. That is the hold up atm since they want to announce everything at once as a full 1M kit.

So, likely not going to see this offered until the new year is what I'm guessing

What else is going into the 1M kit?
