Lightbulb Need Opinion: Eisenmann Race vs Hartge Quad Exhaust

Hi guys. I plan to do some mods on my car, including an axle back exhaust and carbon diffuser. The good news is I will get more fund in next few months so that I can afford Hartge quad exhaust. So here's the story about my consideration.

I got an offer of Eisen Race 2x83mm for 2,100 and I plan to buy a carbon rear diffuser that will cost about 600 or more or less 2,700 for those mods. On the other hand, I got other offer for Hartge quad exhaust that looks nicer with Hartge diffuser for 3,400ish. The Hartge price includes the Hartge diffuser, so it's 2,700 vs 3,400 but I get quad exhaust and nicer look.

One thing in mind is I'm going to pair the axle back with my stock N55 mids. Also, the vendor says Hartge is quite louder than stock but overall it's just produce higher tone.

Please share your thought guys. Appreciate any comments. Also please let me know the pros and cons. Please told me the bottom price for Hartge if I should take it over Eisenmann since 700 dollar is worth other mods. Your opinions and comments might help me to negotiate more with some vendors. Thanks guys!

Aren't you suppose to buy the Hartge exhaust as well to buy the diffuser? Or is there any reason for not using Hartge exhaust? Looks good though.

I will go quad if its like Hartge. For me it's the best since looks like an oem. Place right on the middle not like others that placed more to the side of the car.

I didn't want to pay the premium for their exhaust so I had them only sell me the Hartge diffuser and I built my own exhaust. They pretty much make you buy the exhaust and diffuser at once but somehow they budged.

Do you mind to share the price you got for the diffuser? Yes, that's what I'm thinking about. But as far as quad exhaust, Hartge looks the best since it looks like oem. Centered just right, not too the side of the diffuser

I paid $800 for it unpainted just primer. I paid $300 for the exhaust so the whole thing came out to much cheaper than the $3500 that Hartge wanted for the whole bundle. The exhaust sounds awesome and I still made more power on the dyno.

I am actually going to be posting up all my mods for sale in February because I am getting rid of my 135i..

Just bought a Hartge race quad exhaust system and will be installing soon. I will be running the Hartge with an AR catted downpipe and stock mids. Like CL 19 said, a major factor in my decision was that I wanted quad tips and I preferred the more-centered setup of the Hartge. The kits that have a wider spacing look unbalanced on the 135i, in my opinion.

Cool. Is your car N54 or N55? Let me know once you installed it on your car. How's AR catted? I'm looking almost the exact setup with yours; AR catted, N55 stock mids, and maybe Hartge quad or Meisterschaft GT. Some guys said catted DP sometimes still creates smell, do you experience this problem? Thanks bud!

My car is an N55. I don't have anything installed yet, but will reply with my feedback once everything is on and a few test miles driven.

Cheers!
