Guys, see how the UK members stick their license tags firmly? Our tags are peeling at corners on some cars! Next time be sure to use blu-tac for all 4 corners

Hi RD Sport.
We actually used ordinary Sellotape. We just wrapped it into an 'O' making our own double-sided tape- one piece at both ends of the sticker. We only need small pieces- about 1 inch long. Just make sure they are pressed down firmly.

All the best.

Viv

Hi Tony

thx instead of reading company's emails which are hoarding up, i'm spending most of the time reading E90 post.

Well, once you go "black" you don't go back. Yrs is truly one of its kind - jet black, most of the E90 are indeed black sapphire.

There is no turning back when it comes to modding our car. I think it's more fun doing it bit by bit, instead of once-and-for-all.

Hi Viv,

We have been using blu-tac and it seems to work fine. It's just we haven't stick the stickers firmly on all 4 corners and it was a bit windy during our 3rd meet so the corners were peeling. Also those stickers have been used for 2 times already (actually it's made of plastic film) so may not be nice and flat.

Sunny pls stop reminding me my laziness too my boss is out of town! Actually I was once a little regreted to give up Black Sapphire when I found that JB and BS look almost identical.
While I was telling RD I should stop mod in 2006 but I can't help to flip thru those mods mags (just bought a very good Japanese mag from Matsuzaka dept store called BMW Tunning II , they show all brands and all parts of mods of the big tuners for most of the BMW models, not cheap ~1600yen but worth getting ).
Good thing about mod is we never get bored with the car
(How many times one would look his/her own face in details unless that perosn is putting on make-ups regularly)

RD, I modified the list a little bit to remind me what I want and which is the priority....I have a increased mood of mods and even want to do it to the tiger W203(black rims). i have to be sensible though or I will not meet my life target on other things
BTW, the shark fin is not new item, and I saw your original rear sides window blinds and they look perfect fit the car , very high class material - so I want it!
The CF items are newly thoughts - this is also while I will try to hold up the spoilers orders and see if I want all CF or just the CF front lips.
The CF mirrors are very costly, not sure if we should wait for the E92 mirrors?

I just posted my estimate of 335i HK price:

A 330i base price is $499,000 HKD ~$73264 CAD or $64346 USD
The only major options that being covered in the base price are bixenon and moonroof. Adding comfort access, idrive, logic7 will be another us10K. HK is a free port, 99% imported goods are tax free except cigarettes and alcohol. The high car price is due to government imposed vehicle registration tax which is 40~90% increasing based on the imported base price. A near-luxury car becomes our luxury car here. Based on my invoice, the imported price is ~us44K (look like HK local dealer markup is at least 5K) excl. optional equipment, and the tax for a 44k car was to add ~55% more. Optional equipment is also taxable (~90%).

Based on above..wonder if some mathematicians can work out HK base price for a 335i
I would calculate like this:-
330i = 44k ( assume 5k dealer markup , ~11% )
335i = 39K*1.2 (assume 20% more than 330i) =47K+5k dealer markup=52K
52K * 1.55 (assume 55% tax)=US$80K=~HK$630,000

Do you think it makes sense here?

Yes, the window blinds are very good and it will be better if you also retrofit the rear power sunshade

CF mirrors from Hartge is steep. I will wait to see when BMW releases their CF mirror.... I can wait

I only remember in the old days, BMW would release Coupe mirrors for the Sedans; but I never heard they have CF mirrors now .....
I always love sunshade on Benz and they save a lot of air cond (fuel).
Hartge is a rip-off.

BTW, I saw from a japanese mag with OEM audio installed on a E90. The original air cond panel has been shifted up and the front can fit two units in the bottom. My only concern about removing the original audio panel is how to set DATE and TIME without it
Yesterday, I plugged in my IPOD NANO to the AUX and the sound was like you fart under the water

t, the CF mirror is on the below link:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...29&hg=51&fg=95

But BMW has yet to release them.....

The power sunshade is very good and I don't regret to have them retrofitted even of the high cost......

I haven't used the AUX yet..... I am using MP3 CDs which can hold more than 100 songs.... enough for me

I can't get an idea of how the AC panel shifted up. Do you have a pic?

NO ! How can that be? I remembered I had tried to put a CDROM with MP files into the stock audio and it is not playable ? ARE YOU SURE ? (or I would be VERY HAPPY)
I think the AUDIO OEM suplier will offer a front panel frame taylored for E90 so that it replaces the stock panel with different openings for inserting back the air cond (in the upper) and below is for the OEM audio units panels....
