Any issues with engine oils/fluids be imported into Australia?
As the title suggests, any issues with ordering oils (brake fluids, diff oil etc) from overseas, particularly the USA?

I've imported Royal Purple a couple of times no problems via USPS, bought off EBAY actually. Buy in carton lots of 12 quarts, saved a packet even with freight as it's very expensive & hard to get out here.

I emailed HPA and he said it's fine but I'd like to verify this.
From what I've seen the savings are worthwhile. For example I payed $44 for 1 Quart of Redline 75W90NS and in the USA it sells for $14. I also checked the Customs website for Prohibited items and didn't see anything relating to engine oils and fluids. |

As others have said, oils are fine but anything that is in a can and is flammable i.e fuel injector cleaner, that cannot be shipped as it is a hazardous material.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm mainly interested in diff oils and brake fluids. I think the shipping costs will offset the savings for engine oils. I'll report back when I get more info.
