Any issues with engine oils/fluids be imported into Australia?

As the title suggests, any issues with ordering oils (brake fluids, diff oil etc) from overseas, particularly the USA?

I've imported Royal Purple a couple of times no problems via USPS, bought off EBAY actually. Buy in carton lots of 12 quarts, saved a packet even with freight as it's very expensive & hard to get out here.

I emailed HPA and he said it's fine but I'd like to verify this.

From what I've seen the savings are worthwhile. For example I payed $44 for 1 Quart of Redline 75W90NS and in the USA it sells for $14.

I also checked the Customs website for Prohibited items and didn't see anything relating to engine oils and fluids.

Oils are not considered hazardous materials and can be shipped without issue.

As others have said, oils are fine but anything that is in a can and is flammable i.e fuel injector cleaner, that cannot be shipped as it is a hazardous material.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm mainly interested in diff oils and brake fluids. I think the shipping costs will offset the savings for engine oils. I'll report back when I get more info.
