1 Series lease Excel worksheet - ED only.

I made this worksheet when I was shopping for my E46 and E90. I have updated it for the 1 series and decided to share it with you guys. The worksheet should be very straight forward and user friendly. Click on the highlighted cells to see available options. Hope you guys find it useful.

Note: I made this just for ED since it's the only way (for me) to lease a BMW.

Remove the .pdf extension to use.

To remove the ".pdf" extension in 2000 & XP:
Open up Windows Explorer. Go to Tools->Folder Options. Click on the "View" tab. Go down to "Hide file extensions for known file types" and uncheck it. Click "OK". Browse to wherever you saved the file and you should see the file name with the extension "1 series ED lease.0d.xls.pdf" instead of just the file name "1 series ED lease.0d.xls". Highlight the file and press the "F2" key. Move your cursor to the end and press the "Backspace" key to remove the ".pdf" part. Press "Enter" when done. You should now see an Excel file with the name "1 series ED lease.0d.xls" instead of "1 series ED lease.0d.xls.pdf".

To remove the ".pdf" extension in Vista:

Writing this instruction is harder that making the Excel worksheet!

Read the big bold words up top :-P
You may have to set your folder options to let you see the file extension. at the end of the file name should be .pdf. Delete that so just .xls is at the end. It should automatically turn into an excel file.

After you download the file just change file name to remove the .pdf from the end.

Easiest solution is to right click, save-as, and type a new name ending in .xls.

Some of us dont have the bcca discount, and some of us are paying less than msrp, if there is a way to change that let us know. Awesome spreadsheet.

I changed the $500 in the "$500 for 3 Series" box to eliminate that and was about to start on the other mod but figured as you had originally locked it you probably wouldn't want me posting it so I'll leave it to you to either explain or change if you want to.

You can use the "Profit" field and put in a negative number in order to offset the difference from MSRP. Alternatively, you can use "ED - Invoice" and put in a positive number in the "Profit" field. As for the BMWCCA reward, it is now editable. However, it makes very little sense not to join and get the $500. I left the "...for 3 Series" in since no one knows how much the reward will be for the 1 Series.

You don't get the BCCA discount until 12 months after you sign up.
