Launch control question

Hi, I have a 135i (N55) with DCT.
Although I follow the step bu step instructions of the user manual I cant seem to activate launch control.

After driving for more than 5miles I press the traction control button (I dont hold it, just press and release), activate the Sport mode pressing the button below the shifter and put the transmition on M1 (all these with the brake pressed). After these I press the gas and no flag appears on the dashboard. (The car has more than 10k miles.)

Any ideas?

Thanks

Are you pushing the brake all the way down??? And you have to push the gas all the way down too, past the kick down stage

I will try to push the brake harder, about the gas: as soon as I hit the gas it feels like the car wants to go out.

Make sure the everything is up and running at the proper temperature. 5 miles might not be enough driving to warm up enough.

I've done it a few times, sometimes it didn't work when I thought it should and I realized that I have to hit the sport button, hit the traction button put the car in sport transmission mode then push a paddle to get it in m1 then depress the brake peddle and mash the throttle passed kick down. I think I wasn't putting it in m1, it was on s1, and it was causing me not to get the flag, and make sure the car is up to normal operating temps.

Also how many miles does it have, I think it has to have 12k but I could be mistaken.
edit: sorry I think it was 1200, please disregard.
