Have to say that it looked fabulous. Even the headlights seemed in context when crouching down from the front.

And while I don't really like the pin-stripes close up, they are pretty effective at highlighting the lines of the car and giving it a degree of drama.

What's the situation with the black roof--is that a paint job?

Aha!! So, you are the 'mysterious stranger' that left the note on my car!

Thanks!! You made my night

The roof is just vinyl wrapped in gloss black.

Haha, thought it might.

Who did the vinyl wrap? Can you just ask BMW to do it? Mine's coming in June/July. I wonder if BMW Melbourne can do it.

I almost bought a white Renault Clio with a black roof. I still think they look the dogs bollocks.

I requested it through my dealer as I wanted it to be done as part of my delivery.

They used Bless Designs to do the roof and also fit the M-Performance stripes. I must say that they did a great job and would use them again if needed.

If you call them, ask for Darion and tell him Simon with the M135i sent you

Nah, white with a black roof. That's where it's at.

I've already ordered the alcantara glove box and Wayne's getting two sets of skirts for us. I'll wait until Wayne's done the exhaust tho before buying one. I made a promise to leave this car stock. Seems like that hasn't lasted long at all.

Make sure you get Damian at Final Inspection to give it the nano treatment before you pick it up.

You are kidding me. Darion is my childhood friend! I'll ask him to do something for Matty and I then.

Will it work with roof racks? It should do, those Thule systems tend to be well designed and are unlikely to otherwise do any roof damage. In other words, tread lightly on the vinyl.

Have you bought your roof rack components yet Wayne? I've got everything except the shoulders given that I've got rails pre-fitted on the E91.

I think you may need a different set of roof rack for the F20. I have ordered it from Europe and only cost me about $300 from memory. I'll order one for you if you like.

Really? Sure, then I can leave the existing racks on the 3 series.

The M-performance interior arrived today.
