I will, don't worry. I'm surprised I haven't seen similar ones on here because I think that combo is outstanding. I did get to see a car like it at my dealer before it was to late to change it because I was concerned it would be to much, and I absolutely loved it.

My problem was that there are only two choices of color in ette. Black and taupe. I do not like leather.
I wanted cloth, but the b@st@rds at BMWNA will not allow it. If there was lemon ette I would have done it in a heartbeat. Alas, I was left with black ette as the only choice available. |

I can't believe how undecided I am between Crimson Red, Montego Blue and Titanium Silver (in the UK, our silver is like a Florida/California white because of the rubbishy weather). I spend ages looking at these photos and the real cars on occasion but just cannot decide. eek and I can't put in my order until I've chosen

No I mean that you get white cars cos in the sun they look AWESOME! We don't get sun like EVER so most of the time your white car is sitting under clouds look miserable, whereas silver is kind of a compromise and by far the most common colour of any car. |

My dad has had a few bimmers in this kind of red, going back about 10 years ago to that generation of 5er and M3 and I remember them as looking great. Part of the brightness is when the sun's out though no? So where there are a fewer sunny days it will be less over the top? |

I actually love bright real red. I am 99% positive about Alpine, but I REALLY need to see a Crimson 135i IN PERSON b4 ordering.
Another problem is I WANT Coral red, its so AWESOME. So whatever ext color I get I will get Coral. Crimson & Coral ??? I think it might look great with the shadowline trim and gloss black int trim. Then I might get black wheels for winter. |

Crimson Red is very, very red. To me it just seems a very pure red. The Coral Red leather is a kind of faded red color plus it's one of the dual tone interiors with lots of black. That keeps it from being overpowering in my opinion.

I had an Imola Red M3, which is just a tad darker than Crimson (there are some pics of Imola and Crimson next to each other somewhere...).
In my opinion, both Imola and Crimson (especially Crimson) are excellent colors for foul-weather climates. I lived in Seattle and Vancouver for many years where the sun can be a rare sight, and in overcast/dull light the red gets darker/richer and less orange (in the case of Crimson, anyways). Here in NM, where the sun is nearly always shining, Crimson is a bit too bright for my tastes. Here are a two pics of SL01's car, from the official Crimson Red thread, showing what I mean (sun in the first pic, overcast in the 2nd pic): |

looks pretty awesome for me to have in the UK
The more I see it the more I'm leaning towards Crimson, I do want to see one in real life before putting my order down though. |

My son and I saw a Crimson 128i sport conv today and it was real nice, my son loved the red. I asked him what he would pick between CR and AW, he hesitated and said probably AW, but the CR is a close second. Something to think about. :iono: |
