Installed PIAA Precious White 4800K on the 135i (for angel eyes)

I have the PIAA Xtreme White 4150K bulbs on my X5 and when I saw these were just released in Japan by PIAA, I placed an order. They came in today and I installed them as soon as my wife got home from work. The install was straightforward, apart from putting those covers back on. What a pain in the arse

I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Damn P1et!!! That indeed looks GOOD!!! They look pretty bright! At least using those bulbs won't give you any chances of headlight failures like the LED alternatives.

Thanks for sharing some pics!

Wow those look surprisingly good, up to now your only option for decent white halos were Lux bulbs. Mind me asking where you picked these up? Also I've only had the car for 3 weeks so not entirely familiar with it... do you require 2 different types of bulbs for the 2 halos? And were the bulbs you picked up the correct wattage?

I bought them on eBay since I don't think you buy them in the US. No, you only need one bulb on each side. Each bulb lights up both the angel eyes. These bulbs are 35W, just like the OEM bulbs.

Thanks, was confused because the box says 70 watts. Thanks for the tip, may pick these up!

Also would you happen to have any daytime shots? I heard aftermarket bulbs while brighter at night many times will appear dimmer during the day compared to stock.

In for daytime pics. I've been needing new bulbs for my angel eyes and don't really want to pay for the lux bulbs

Looks fantastic! I wonder how these compare to the Phillips Diamond Vision 5000K...

On the box it says H-785. I bought them on eBay and I think you can search for PIAA Precious White H8 and they should pop up.

Interesting, it's still bright during the day but gives off a stockish yellow output. Well I'm sold!

In the first set of pics it looks to have a slightly blue-ish tint and in the second set a slightly more white tint. It was 6pm when I took the second set of pics and they definitely do not look OEM anymore. I should have left one stock bulb on there to show the difference. It is hard sometimes to capture what aftermarket bulbs really look like in person when taking a photo.

EDIT: just watched the car when my wife left for work and at 8:30am, definitely nice and WHITE!
