HELP! Can anyone help me track down these suckers?!?

Hey guys,
I've had trouble finding these two parts since day one with my 1M and wanted to see if anyone here can help me track down the part number or know where to find them.
I'm referring to the two plastic parts that go on both sides on the rear fender of our car. The fender has two narrow slots on both sides, which are covered by a small plastic part, which are locked into place and can get loose and lost ver easily.
I've lost a few over the years and my BMW dealer here in Lima was able to find them before but this time they don't seem to know whats going on. I still have the left hand side one which I took out to get a number, but apparently the numbers in there are not the BMW part number and they don't know how to look for it. They even sent me a diagram (I have attached it) so that I could show them which part I was looking for but although the vents where the parts go are shown on the diagram, there is no reference to the parts I'm referring to.
Here are some pictures of the slots where these go, and a picture of the left hand side part I still have, I need the one that goes on the right hand side.
Any ideas of where to find these?
Many thanks!

Im out of town at the moment but will return home tomorrow to check my parts bin. But 90% sure they come with the "Set of Covers" #9 in the diagram and part# 51-11-8-053-877

*actually just confirmed it my self but searching on ECS. Got to love that they take pictures of everything.

So we may guess that the air vent slats are not available separately, but that you got to get the "set of covers" kit (part # 51 11 8 053 877).

Though, judging by the pictures, the parts feature the following part # stamped on it:
  • 51 12 8 052 497 ("L" = right hand side)
  • 51 12 8 052 498 ("R" = right hand side)

Looks as tho it was dropped from the catalog and put together with the covers. Just tried to order those parts separate and they could not find the part even with the part number.

Thanks for the info guys, I already ordered a set.
I'm considering using some sort of adhesive to fix it in place and make sure I don't lose one again!

24,- EUR at my local dealer. Cheaper and quicker than buying it from California
