Week 19 Support Group

I ordered this weekend. My CA said it was a week 19 production date. They started production Monday though, so I geuss the production date may be when it is done... So I'm not sure if I'm week 19 or not...

According to the 1-800 number, my 135i vert. is in production and should be completed by May 5. However, May 1 is a holiday in Europe and many businesses are closed on May 2, so I'm not holding my breath. I can understand why they call this website 1ADDICTS. My wife thinks I am sick obsessing over the production of a car.

I'm pretty sure I'm a week 19 build (completion date was supposed to be May 5th). Just called the 800 number and it told me I was being transported to the port. I only placed my order 12 days ago! Any chance I get the car (I live in PA) by the end of the month?

Just called BMW USA and got a VIN. Was told that car may enter body shop today.

As of this morning, assembly is finished and undergoing quality check.

Like Rodfly, my 135i vert is in final quality checks and may be finished today. May make it to the port by Friday.

Next ships to Charleston are the Courage (sailing 5/15/08) and Integrity (sailing 5/19/08).

I think that is what my vehicle order sheet said, at least for Louisiana.

Got my VIN through my CA today... no time to call though, and I hate those automated systems anyway. I guess I'll wait till the tracking system is updated...

My order sheet has Charleston (I think, its CHSPOA) for a Performance Center Delivery (Ordered from TN). I got an odd message via my CA about them not being able to schedule the PCD:

Thank you for submitting your recent Performance Center Delivery reservation for Josh ******. Unfortunately, since this production number (********) is a new production model and we cannot offer a delivery date at this time. Please inform your customer that we will contact you with a delivery date once the vehicle is produced and we have an ETA on its arrival.

To RedTREx, I just got on the ship and I thought our port would be SC also, but, I just got an email from my CA and he told me it was Port Brunswick GA for me at least in Florida.

I'm week 19 as well and should be picking up mine in Port Brunswick, GA.

I called at 2100 last night got same info "in production est complete 5 May"


See what I get today. I wasn't in a hurry before, but all of a sudden I have a crack like addiction need.......

Call the 1800 and don't go through the computer system. Speak to a rep and give them your prod # or vin. They give much more info. It's like drip feeding the drug right to the brain cells. Should give you at least 6 hours of high
Then during this high, read the week 17 threads and see what we're in for regarding waiting for a ship

I called and spoke to a rep yesterday, car finished, awaiting final inspection. Argh!

I thought I was week 18 but then I looked at my order form again and it said 2008/5/19 for Req. Prod. so I guess I'm week 19. But my car was completed on 4/28 and is currently waiting for a boat which seems more like week 18 to me. I guess it doesn't matter as long as it gets here soon!

By the way, how do I find out my VIN? I can't find it on the bmw owner's circle web site.
