Hello and a Sport Seats Question
Hey everybody. First time poster here... I've been lurking for a few weeks as my interest in a 135i keeps growing. I currently drive a '95 Integra... decent looks, great gas mileage, etc., but obviously not enough power and it'd FWD. My car has been in the family since it was new (13 years old baby!) so a new car is in my future, but not until after I graduate the University of Florida in December. I just test-drove the 135i Tuesday night and was very impressed! The potbelly bothers me a little bit, but the luxury feel and look of the 135i entangled with a sports car's performance makes it the clear leader for me!
I find myself customizing my future 135i on almost a daily basis. One question which I would like answered is do the sport seats come only in manual? On the Packages tab on BMW's website it says they're "8-way manual". I want the power seats because of the convenience and the fact that my dad has an awful back and needs the lumbar support. I could probably do without the power seats if it was just me, but he's been along for all my car adventures, so I'd like to return the favor by keeping him in mind when I buy my first car. So my question is, can you get power sport seats? |

The sport seats come only with the Sport Package. Power memory seats (either sport or normal) are a separate stand alone option - or are included in the optional Premium Package.
In other words, you may have either sport or normal seats - each of which may be power or manual. Unfortunately, the lumbar support only comes with the premium package. Tom |
