LF non-resonated center pipe

OK, I suck at searching, I have searched and searched and not found anything....

I have a 2013 135i with the BMW PE installed. Really not crazy about the cut and clamp resonator delete that comes with it. Over large bumps I can hear one of the clamps hitting the K shaped brace that goes underneath it.

What I am really trying to find is aftermarket center pipes that will fit between the stock downpipe and PE muffler. I love the sound of the full PE, so I do not want any resonators in the system, or clamps. Just two straight pipes that run the full length. Seems all of the aftermarket pipes are resonated.

Anybody know of one that is not?

Meisterschaft makes one. $$$$ though for a straight pipe.

Could you have a muffler shop weld yours and get rid of the clamps?

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for!!!!

Thank you!

Always seem to have some problems with muffler shops trying to cobble together stuff, would rather get something I know will fit perfectly. The SS version is not too bad at around $1200. The Ti version is kinda rediculous at $3k.

CP-E make one. Much less expensive than the Miesterschaft ones. I have then on my car. Good quality.

Looks like the CP-E uses a two piece clamped pipe just like the OEM PE. And the flange at the back does not look welded??!?!

No problem!

I don't have the mids, but I have the Meisterschaft race axle back exhaust. Great quality and sounds awesome!

Both Berk and Maddad do not appear to make a non-resonated mid pipe.

Just and FYI... The Maddad midpipe (w/resonators) is much louder and has a deeper tone than the PE y-pipe setup. That being said, the Maddad sits a little lower as a result of the increased diameter. Can't speak to the Berk midpipe.

Not sure how it could be louder with resonators installed. The N55 with the resonator delete Y-Pipe is a pure straight pipe. Or are you comparing it to a N54 mid with Y-Pipe installed?

I don't understand why you don't just re-position the clamp? I've had mine on for a while now with zero issues and no leaks.. Why spend serious $$ on a pointless "mod"?

Yes, my mistake... compared to the N54 mids. Although the increased diameter of the Maddad mid pipes probably makes it a wash compared to the N55 mids (minus the WOT rasp).

Probably the most anal retentive tech you have ever met. LOL!

I don't like doing anything half assed, and the cut and clamp Y-Pipe with the PE just seems half assed to me.

Berk mids are nice...but they really quiet down the rasp, actually too much so IMO. My current setup is pretty loud but too boomy for my tastes, I wouldn't mind ditching them for straight pipes. My axle back technically has a muffler on it

Would love the Meisterschaft mids for a full GThaus exhaust, but over $1K for straight piping is a bit excessive.

Fair enough.. but why not get it welded? I'm a pretty anal retentive tech myself and I've thought of doing this...

Just saw this.

Unfortunately, the gap between the factory portion of the center pipe and the resonator delete portion is too big.
