Looks gorgeous. My order's almost identical...but the only colour I'm currently seeing is green. Envious! Enjoy it mate...I'd need to exercise plenty of will-power to avoid pushing it hard until I've done 1200 miles.

What options did you go for and any interior pics?

Thanks Moff for your comments,

It'll soon be spring and those weeks will fly by, hang in there fella.

I ordered back at the beginning of October (I think) and I was the first at my dealership in Chelmsford to place a 135i coupe order.

With regards options:

prof. satnav, exterior mirror pack, xenons+washer, rear tilted windows, black Boston leather, electric adj seats, USB interface and a few other things that I cant remember. Dealer wouldn't move of the price (£36,500 all in) - I know ouch!!

Really enjoying the car, have only racked up 400 miles so far, so I haven't really gone past 4,500 rpm yet. My first and lasting impression so far is still that wave of fantastic torque from anything north of 1,300 rpm. You'll going to love this car, easy to drive and comfortable when you stuck in town or traffic and a blast when your in the mood. Cant wait to loose those 4,500 rpm shackles.

I'll try and post some more impressions over the weekend if I get time out of the car.

I've attached an interior picture as requested,

Mad Chemist.

Looks great, I have gone for the brushed aluminium trim too.

Let me know what you think of the USB connection - I have heard differing stories about it.

Brushed is a no cost option, it comes standard with Glacier silver trim which is the 'dimpled' version.

The car I drove had the Glacier and my dad's car has the Brushed which I preferred.

I really wanted the 'Piano' Gloss trim which we have got in our 335, but for some reason it's not an option in the UK, but it is in the rest of Europe...

Did you not spend hours examining the brochure and price list in every detail? Oh, just me then!

Glacier trim is the default option, with brushed aluminium trim being a no cost option.

It's quite nice really, but I just preferred the 'simpler' looking brushed trim.

Will try and hunt down some pics for you.

I agree with 135i - brushed aluminium interior trim with accent line is the standard on the 135i.

Thanks again for all the positive comments.

Fist off, and believe it or not, my posted picture is with silver glacier trim (hard to tell with the bloody flash on my camera!). I also had no idea that the brushed aluminium was a no cost option as the dealer didn't point this out and it was also very hard see any difference in the BMW brochure. I'm actually very pleased with the silver glacier, which is lucky. The 'tilted' windows are a figment of my spelling abilities, I'm afraid. So your right, it should read tinted windows. With regards the USB port, I'm currently downloading a load of stuff onto my ipod so I'll report back soon after I've had a few days to play with the USB thingy.

Incidentally I overtook a few dawdlers today on the way to work and didn't realise that I was in 6 gear (thought I was in 4th). This didn't really make any difference as the torque curve of the car is so flat, which made getting past pretty effortless (nice). I'm still looking forward to getting the next 500 miles or so over so I can start to appreciate the top end of the rev band as well.

Mad Chemist.
