Engine tune question

Is it easy to put the car back to stock when taking it in for a warranty issue and then re-tune it again afterwards?

depends on which tune you go with. Some use a handheld flasher, some use a laptop.
Most will take less than 10 mins to flash.

I assume no matter which one you choose, you want to wait after the 1200 mile service, correct?

Considering that you're expected to drive fairly easy for the first 1200 miles or so, I can't imagine being tuned to make a difference during that easy going time period. I could be wrong though, but that is my assumption. I don't think it will be harmful to car due to the nature of one's driving.

I believe Evolve Automotive, Epic Motorsports, and ESS Tuning all offer laptop based flashing which makes it incredibly fast and easy to tune your car.

Cobb Tuning is even easier.

If you have a local GIAC dealer, they have one of the best software flashes available. Most if not all of the time attack N54 cars are on their software.

If you like to DIY, Cobb Access Port is the way to go.

Let us know if we can help.
