That was beyond your control. Very frustrating.

Wow man that sucks I had a similar situation when I was in Spain with flooding reaching 10 feet. I literally just bought my 1er new 2 months ago and it was about 3 feet in front of my condo and I dreaded going into the garage as it was underneath the condo. I don't know how they designed it but it was bone dry down there guess I got lucky. My friends and neighbors cars parked on the side of the road didn't fare to well.

I'm really sorry to hear that your M will be a loss, but like you said it is just a thing. As a fellow Calgarian I hope you and all our Friends are Family are Safe and will be home soon.

hey canlefty, so sorry to hear of your 1M's misfortune .. that's just too sad .. like others have said .. at least you're safe and 'things can be replaced'. As an Easterner, I am in awe of the strength of Calgarian's that's been demonstrated during this disaster though .. and your mayor .. Naheed Nenshi .. comes across as a very competent guy to be leading the response team! Take good care man!

And that definitely isn't a momentary flood.. this is like days prolonged underwater lol. On the bright side you can always look to get another 1M, or you could lock down a 135 and mod + keep some cash.

I hate to bring up arrangements before the funeral, but is anything salvageable from something like this?

I'd imagine some 135i owners would like those fenders.

Hope this isn't 'too soon', just curious.

Glad you and the loved ones are ok though. Good luck with everything.
