Hmmm. I'll consider that.
I don't really like the runflats (way too hard) and it makes sense that the suspension has to "work harder" with them.

The suspension is also tuned for them, so the handling is deliberate as the engineers intended. 18s really don't help either considering the very low profile tires BMW fitted. I really question BMWs choices in regards to wheel/tire sizes for this car. For sure the market demands 18s, but they are very prone to kerb damage and bent wheels in this combination.

There is no problem with the ride quality in this car in my opinion. In fact it's pretty good. But in terms of a proper sports car which it isnt supposed to be, as I have said, it just doesnt cut the mustard....

My Cross Coilovers changed the car completely...ride, stability and overall handling. If you can swing it they are a near must if you plan on any aggressive driving:thumbup:

I thought BMW offered performance springs, shocks, and struts. I wasn't aware they offer performance swaybars.
EDIT: I wasn't familiar with the term, "stabilisers," which is just another word for swaybars and are included with the performance suspension kit. Glad to have that clarified. I've been considering KW coilovers, but I find myself leaning towards this kit now. |
